DuPont Refinish paint systems were first imported into the UK in 1982 when John and Maggy Harris of Carpaints became the countries first importers and distributors of DuPont paint.
In 1984 DuPont Refinish UK Ltd consisted of only two people, but in the 22 years since the introduction of DuPont Refinish Paint in the UK, the company has continued to expand and now has over 70 distributors throughout the UK and Ireland.
During this time we have seen many innovative and ground breaking new products launched, in order to meet health and safety legislation requirements.
This innovative stance has resulted in the continuous development of refinish products and services that have changed the face of the refinish industry. Lately, DuPont Refinish has led the development of water-based, environmental-friendly paint technologies with the introduction of the Cromax® product range, helping bodyshops around the world to boost colour matching, productivity and profitability.
